No interest in government CBSE school, only 12 applications for admission latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 09/05/2023: Parents are not showing interest in enrolling their children in government CBSE school in Dhanbad. Dhanbad Plus Two Zilla School has got CBSE affiliation from session 23-24. There are 40 seats in KG One and 80 seats in Class One.
The last date of application is 15 May. In seven days (till Monday) after the inauguration of the school, only six applications for KG One and six applications for Class One have been received. Jila School, SSLNT Plus Two Girls School and Nirsa Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School have been declared as schools of excellence by the state government by giving affiliation to CBSE.
The last date of application is 15 May. With SSLNT Girls Plus Two School becoming a school of excellence, classes VI, VII and VIII are to start from the new session.
Till now the education used to be from 9th to 12th. So far only 13 applications have been received for class six, only 7 for class seven and 8 for class eight for 40-40 seats. There are 40-40 seats in sixth, seventh and eighth.
92 children have definitely taken applications for the ninth. So far 114 applications have been received for admission to 25 seats in class VI in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Nirsa. DEO Bhootnath Rajwar has given necessary instructions regarding less applications received in SSLNT school. Asked to implement the guidelines regarding excellent school.
Priority to those living within two km
Children of parents living within two km will get priority. The age of the child should be five years for enrollment in Bal Batika i.e. KG One and six years for class one. The form for enrollment is available offline in the school. Form is also available on dhanbadnic.in website.

According to the instructions of the state government, according to the CBSE syllabus in the schools of excellence, children are to be taught in the schools from NCERT textbooks.
