Latest Updated 20/05/2023: IIT Patna will run the second 'B Hub' of Bihar. To strengthen Bihar startups, the second B-Hub after Mauryalok is about to start in Bihar State Financial Corporation's building. The Department of Industry and Bihar Startup Fund has entrusted the responsibility of running this second B-Hub starting in Bihar to the Incubation Center of IIT Patna.
The MoU to this effect was signed by Pankaj Dixit, Director, Industries and Dr. TN Singh, Director, Indian Institute of Technology. Development Commissioner Vivek Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Industries Department Sandeep Poundrik, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Arunish Chawla and Additional Chief Secretary Information Technology Santosh Kumar Malla were present on the occasion.

The Development Commissioner said that B-Hub has a special role in strengthening the startup ecosystem in the entire state. Bihar is the leading state in the country in terms of emerging startup ecosystem. The startup system will be further strengthened once a new working space with facilities for entrepreneurs is started. The construction of Common Working Center at Fraser Road is in the final stage.
