Fee and Course will be the same as in the 4-year UG of Bihar latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 18/05/2023: The syllabus and format of the four-year undergraduate course has been prepared for the universities of Bihar. According to this, the courses and fees of all the universities will be the same. Raj Bhavan has issued a letter to the universities in this regard.
The new syllabus & format will be implemented from this session 2023-27. The 4 year undergraduate (ug) course will be completed in 8 semesters & 160 credits have been fixed for it. Every semester will be of 20 credits. Students must have secured 7.5 CGPA by the time they reach the 7th semester of the final year. According to the new rule, credits have also been linked to the attendance. 75 percent attendance of the students has been made compulsory.
Chancellor-cum-Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar had entrusted the responsibility of preparing the curriculum & format to a committee of Vice-Chancellors of five universities. The committee has done the work. The fee structure of 4-year graduation has also been fixed. Students have to pay the admission fee of 2255 Rupees in the 1st semester. Whereas, the admission fee of students in other semesters has been fixed at 2005 Rupees. Apart from this, the exam fee for every semester will be 600 Rupees. Simultaneously, only the registration fee of 600 rupees has been fixed for the registration of the students from the university. Apart from this, no any fee will have to be paid.
