Latest Updated 23/05/2023: Due to the negligence of the school, applications of 10,338 students of the state are pending. Due to this they can be deprived of scholarship. GD Patliputra Senior Secondary School to give matriculation scholarship to 13 scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students. But applications of ten children are pending in this.
Eight SC and ST category students of PN Anglo Higher Secondary School are to get scholarship but the applications of seven students here are pending. This situation is not of any one or two schools but of hundreds of schools across the state. Scholarship is to be given to more than 50 thousand scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students across the state. But the applications of 10338 students are still pending.
In this regard, the Bihar Education Project Council has given information about this by writing a letter to all the district education offices. Talking about Patna district, scholarship is to be given to 10454 students of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe who have passed matriculation. Of these, the application of 3380 is pending. Patna's DEO Amit Kumar told that if the application is not verified by the school, the students will not be able to get the scholarship.

Ten thousand is given as scholarship Ten thousand rupees are given as scholarship. It will be available only to those students whose application will be verified by the principal of the concerned school. It may be known that the date for verification of the application is fixed on May 25. If the verification is not done by the schools by May 25, then the scholarship will not be available.
Scholarship of college students has also stopped
Along with the school, many college students are also included in this scholarship of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. These college administrations have also been instructed to verify the applications by writing letters to all the DEOs. Those students who enrolled in plus two college after matriculation in the year 2022, those students have not yet received scholarship. Regarding this, the colleges have been instructed to verify the applications as soon as possible.
543 students applied in general category
Many students' applications have been rejected by the schools. These include applications from 543 students from across the state so far. In this, 55 applications from Patna district have been canceled by the schools. According to the schools, this scholarship is to be given only to SC and ST students, while general students also applied.
