Central Government approves four new nursing colleges in UK Uttarakhand latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 10/04/2023: The central government has approved the opening of four new nursing colleges in Uttarakhand. These four colleges will be established along with government medical colleges. With this, the youth of the state will get more opportunities to study nursing.
In the budget, the central government had announced the opening of new nursing colleges across the country. Under this, it has been decided to open new nursing colleges in Haridwar, Rudrapur, Haldwani and Srinagar of Uttarakhand.
The names of these colleges have been included in the list of total 157 new nursing colleges being opened across the country. Officials of the Medical Education Department told that a budget of around 25 crores is going to be received from the Center to open a nursing college. Health Department Secretary Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar told that the work of these colleges will start this year.
