Recruitment process started on vacant posts under Health Department of Jharkhand latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 25/03/2023: The Health Department has started the process of filling up 50 vacant posts of managerial level in the headquarters and districts under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM Abhim). Under this, State Health Manager PMU 01 post, State Health Assistant PMU 01 post, District Health Infrastructure Manager 24 posts (all districts) and District Health Infrastructure Assistant 24 posts (all districts) will be appointed.
Vidyanand Sharma Pankaj, Joint Secretary, Health Department has issued instructions in this regard. In which it is said that all the posts will be appointed on contract basis. Only online applications will be taken till April 15 for appointment to these posts.

Age will be counted from 1 August
The Joint Secretary has said that retired officers, who will not be below the rank of Joint Secretary in the Government of Jharkhand, will be appointed to the post of State Health Manager. For other posts, the age will be calculated on the basis of August 1, 2022. In this, 35 years for General and EWS, 37 for OBC, 38 for general women and 40 years for ST / SC have been fixed. There will be age relaxation of 05 years for physically handicapped candidates of each category. Based on the application, the selected candidates will be called for Interview, Written Test, Skill Test.
