RTE Bihar Admission 2023-24: Form will get from 9 March to 18 March latest news update
Latest Updated 03/03/2023: To provide free education to 25% poor children in private schools under the Right to Education, the admission schedule for the session 2023-24 has been issued. Parents desirous of enrolling in a private school can fill the application form from 9 March to 18 March. Enrollment form will be available from the concerned school only. It will be mandatory to give residential, caste and income certificates to the parents. Nomination forms will have to be given by the schools for 25 percent of the prescribed seats. If any school receives more forms than the prescribed number of seats, then enrollment will be done on the basis of lottery.
The school will have to give prior information about drawing the lottery to the District Education Office. The lottery will be drawn in front of the personnel nominated by the District Education Office. Apart from this, at least two parents (by whom the application has been given) will also be present at the time of drawing the lottery. Children have to be selected by 20 March for admission on the seats earmarked by private schools. Admission of selected children will be taken by 25 March.

Poor children admission on 25 percent seats
Admission information has to be given to DEO Private schools have to give complete information about enrollment to Patna DEO. After enrollment as per the prescribed date, the school management will provide the list of enrolled children to the Block Education Officer by April 10. Patna DEO Amit Kumar told that this time full attention is being kept on private schools on 25 percent enrollment. Under the right to education, the entire process will be completed in March so that there is no delay in enrollment of 25 percent poor children.
