NTA NEET 2023 Application form: Admitted on increased seats from 5 March latest news update
Exam on May 7, this time students will get chance to apply for one month
- There are 1150 seats in all medical colleges of Bihar
- The no. of medical colleges in the country has increased to 660 (Six Hundred Sixty)
Now, student union elections will be held in medical colleges as well
Latest Updated 03/03/2023: This time, under the new proposal, student union elections will be held in medical colleges as well. The elected representatives will be able to present the problems of the students of the colleges in writing to the concerned authorities. At the same time, the talks between the college administration and the student union will be kept among the common students.
There will be no center on sensitive centers. The NTA director said that before choosing the examination centers, feedback will be taken from the officials of the respective states. There will be no any centers at sensitive centers. Investigation will be completed at many levels to ensure that fake applicants do not sit.

The application for NEET will start from 5 March. Students will get 1 month's time to apply. The entrance exam is to be conduct on 7 May. Director General of National Testing Agency (NTA) Vineet Joshi said that the exam will be conduct by NTA only. The syllabus is provided through NMC.
Last year more than 18 lakh candidates applied for the entrance exam. This time more than 20 lakh candidates will apply. Admission to medical colleges is done by this exam.
This time admission to 1 lakh seats has increased in the no. of MBBS seats across the country. This time admission will be done for 1 lakh seats. 6 new medical colleges have been announced. In these, nominations will be taken for 6 hundred seats. Talking about Bihar, there are 1150 seats available in govt medical colleges. If private colleges are added then the no. of seats is around three thousand. The no. of medical colleges in the country has increased to 660 (Six Hundred Sixty).
Provision will have to pass first year in four years
Now, MBBS students will be provide a maximum of 4 years to clear the first year. If a student is not able to clear the first year even in 4 years, then he will be thrown out. Earlier there was no such provision. At the same time, 9 years will be provide to pass the complete course of MBBS. Earlier it was ten years. Only those candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology & English in class 12th will be able to take the NEET UG exam. Former Dean of AKU cum Director of Turkish Medical College, Rajeev Ranjan said that NMC has made the said change while releasing the notification for the new session.
