Patna University PhD application form 2023 till 4 March latest news update
Latest Updated 24/02/2023: Patna University Administration has extended the date of application for PhD examination to 4 April. And the exam is likely to be held on 19 March. The date has been extended by the university on the demand of the students. So far more than five thousand students have applied.
Pre-PhD examination is being held after three years. It has about five hundred seats. The maximum number of seats are in the subjects of the Faculty of Science. After this there are vacancies in the subjects of the Faculty of Social Sciences. This information was given by media in-charge Prof. By Anil Kumar A plan is being made to conduct the exam at another place for this exam. For female candidates, the examination will be conducted at the Women's College of PU. Making this examination free from malpractices will also be a big challenge. As per UGC norms, PhD students are given more weightage in lecturer appointment. Because of this the number of students applying has increased.

The first mid-term session 2022-25 (CIA) UG second semester examination of BA, BSc and BCom in Patna University will be held from 1 March to 4 March.
