Teacher recruitment exam in Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya Jharkhand will be held after Holi
Latest Updated 24/02/2023: The recruitment examination of teachers in 534 Kasturba residential schools across the state will be held after Holi. The schedule for this will be released shortly. The exam will be conducted for four to five days. On which day, for which candidate the examination will be held, the candidates will get information about it from their admit card.
Admit card will be issued online. According to the Bihar Education Project Council, for the first time, the recruitment test for female teachers is being conducted for Kasturba Vidyalaya. The exam will be organized in online mode. For this, examination centers have been set up in six district headquarters of the state. Apart from Patna, there will be examination centers in Bhagalpur, Gaya, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur and Chhapra.
According to the information received, the examination related to recruitment will be taken in written form. More than one lakh women have applied. In this, 35 thousand applications are for school warden, teacher and accountant. Rest of the applications are for cook, assistant cook, night watchman, peon etc. The written test will be for Warden, Teacher and Accountant only. The remaining posts will be appointed through interview. According to the Bihar Education Project Council, there is a shortage of wardens and teachers in Kasturba Vidyalaya for many years. More than half of the Kasturba schools are running on the in-charge warden.

Four thousand posts are vacant, planning will be done at the district level
Including all the Kasturba schools across the state, about 4,000 posts are vacant. Every Kasturba Vidyalaya requires a warden and 10 female teachers. Preparation to fill the posts is being done by the Bihar Education Project Council. The planning work will be done after the written test. The candidates who pass the written test will be employed at the district level. Those who have given the option of the district, according to that their planning will also be done.
CIMP will prepare for competitive exams
Patna Students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes of the state will be provided free preparation for CAT and other competitive examinations. For this, students can appear in the Guidance Center Entrance Exam 2023. To join this, students can apply till February 28. 100 SC and 20 ST students will be selected through entrance test.
All the selected students will be given preparation for CAT along with all other competitive exams free of cost. Students will be selected on the basis of written entrance test and interview for free preparation of any exam. Along with this, the student will also be given a scholarship of one thousand rupees per month on the basis of their monthly attendance (at least 80 percent attendance is necessary).
