Bihar government will conduct special TET and STET: 25500 Urdu, Persian and Arabic teachers will be recruited latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 24/02/2023: The state government will conduct special TET and STET to recruit teachers for Urdu, Persian and Arabic subjects. 26500 such teachers will be appointed in a phased manner. Education Minister Dr. Chandrashekhar has instructed to prepare a complete action plan with rules for conducting special TET and STET in 15 days. After that the education department has started planning for it.
In fact, in the past, a large number of students had met the Education Minister and expressed their views regarding the problems being faced due to non-availability of teachers. Presently, there are 30032 sanctioned posts for Urdu subject from class 1 to 5, while only 18666 are working. 11166 posts are lying vacant. Similarly, there are 3794 sanctioned posts for class 6 to 8, but only 2645 are working. Here also 1637 posts are vacant. On the basis of teacher-student ratio, 4580 teachers from classes 1 to 5, while 2810 teachers for classes 6 to 8 will need to be created. Thus there will be vacancies for about 20000 posts for Urdu subject from class 1 to 8.
Similarly, there are a large number of vacant posts in secondary and higher secondary schools as well. In secondary teacher, 2000 posts are being created in Urdu subject, 600 posts in Persian and 300 posts in Arabic, a total of 2900 posts are being created. While 2000 posts are being created for Urdu, 400 for Persian and 200 for Arabic among higher secondary teachers. In this way, about 5500 posts will be appointed for Urdu, Persian and Arabic subjects in secondary and higher secondary schools.
Exam will be like this
Urdu, Persian and Arabic subjects for class one to five paper one and class six to eight paper two will be organized for TET exam. Similarly, class 9 to 10 paper one and class 11 to 12 paper two of STET's Urdu, Persian and Arabic subjects will be conducted.
Adequate number of teachers of these subjects will be reinstated after special TET and STET. Along with this, natural justice will also be done with the students studying these subjects.
