According to sources, along with the improvement of health services in district hospitals, new recruitments have been included in the primary work. Under this, an initiative has also been started to overcome the shortage of doctors & para medical personnel.

1511 Senior Resident and 1140 Junior Resident will be recruited in Bihar
The process of sending suggestions to the Bihar Technical Service Selection Commission, Bihar Joint Entrance Examination Board regarding their appointment is in the final stage. Immediately 1511 Senior Residents & 1140 Junior Residents will be recruited in the Bihar. Bihar Joint Entrance Competitive Examination Board will be sent soon by the Health Department for the recruitment of Senior Resident. They will be posted in Medical College Government Hospitals. The recruitment of Junior Resident is proposed for one year.
