Latest Updated On 05/09/2022: There are 110 vacancies out of 157 posts in the State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT). Lecturers have not been appointed after 2004. In 2004, 11 lecturers were appointed. At present there are 19 lecturers instead of just 26.

It should be known that research work is done by SCERT for the development of education. Apart from this, curriculum has to be prepared for every class of government schools and teachers have to be trained from time to time. All this work is being affected due to the vacancy of the post.

In the ongoing teacher training workshop under the new education policy, outside lecturers are being called for training. According to SCERT sources, out of the total 47 working, two personnel are working on deputation in Biboss and University Commission. At the same time, publication officer Kailash Nath Singh and lecturer Rajendra Prasad Singh died due to corona infection. No one has been appointed to these posts yet.
