Jharkhand Model School Admission 2022: again on 3560 vacant seats by JAC latest news update
Latest Updated On 05/09/2022: There will be re-admission in the seats left vacant in the model schools of Jharkhand. For this, a district wise committee has been constituted by the Department of School Education and Literacy. This committee will take the application and written test for enrollment in the vacant seats. In this, the obligation of the block has been abolished. If the students will be from other block and district also, then they will be able to admission on qualifying.
There are 89 model schools in Jharkhand. Of these, there are 3560 seats, but the enrollment is about half the number of students. This leaves seats vacant. Jharkhand Academic Council conducts the entrance exam for enrollment in model schools. After releasing the first list, the government has also directed to ensure the enrollment of the students kept in the waiting list. Along with this, the number of students in the waiting list will also be increased from next year. At present Jack takes the written test and the students of the concerned block are enrolled in the model school of that block.

The committee constituted at the district level will be the chairman of the Additional Collectorate Committee of the district. District Education Officer and Senior Block Education Extension Officer will be its members and the Principal of the concerned model school will be its member secretary.

Enrollment model declining continuously since 2018 Enrollment in schools has been decreasing continuously since 2018. In 2018, enrollment of 2865 students was recommended for 3560 seats. At the same time, 2301 in 2019, 1612 in 2020 and 1485 in 2021 were recommended. In these years, the number of people applying for enrollment also decreased. Applications were received from 6067 students in 2018, 4764 in 2019, 3932 in 2020 and 2717 in 2021.
