Latest Updated On 09/05/2022: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has canceled the 67th Combined Preliminary Examination (PT) after the question paper went viral. After the report of the commission's committee formed to investigate the question paper goes to viral, Chairman RK Mahajan decided to cancel the examination. The DGP has established a team on the recommendation of the commission to investigate from where the question paper was leaked, who made it viral. Amarendra Kumar, Joint Secretary cum Controller of Examinations of the Commission has provided this information.


Actually, the BPSC 67th Preliminary Examination was to start from 12 pm on Sunday. Even before this the question paper went viral on social media platform. After the examination, the examinees also claimed that the questions of the viral question paper have matched the question paper asked in the exam. After the question paper goes viral on social media, BPSC formed a 3-member team to investigate. The report was sought from the team within 24 (twenty four) hours. The team submitted its report to the chairman of the commission in three hours on Sunday itself. The committee found it true that the question paper went viral. Told to meet the question asked during the exam. After this the commission cleared to cancel the examination. In Bihar, 75% students were present at 1083 centers. However, to appear in the examination, 5 lakh 18 thousand students had downloaded the Admit Card.

Investigation team represented under the chairmanship of ADG EOU: DGP


Patna A team was constituted under the chairmanship of ADG EOU Nayyar Hasnain Khan to investigate the question paper viral of BPSC PT. DGP SK Singhal provided this information by holding a press conference at the Police Headquarters on Sunday night. He said that experts of cyber & cyber forensics have been included in the investigation team. Some many more experts will be kept in it.

After the report of the inquiry committee, the chairman of the commission has decided to cancel the examination. The DGP was requested to get the question paper viral from the cyber cell, after which he has constituted an investigation team.
