Appointment of 3270 AYUSH Doctors in 45 days latest update on 14/03/2022
Health Minister Mangal Pandey said that the recruitment process of 3270 AYUSH Medical Officers will be completed in 30 to 45 days. The process of counseling of doctors regarding appointment has been completed. As soon as the recommendation of appointment is received through Bihar Technical Service Selection Commission, all the doctors will be appointed in different districts. This will give great strength to the entire medical system.
Shri Pandey said these things after inaugurating a program organized at Planetarium Auditorium on Sunday. The 6th World Unani Medicine Day and cancer awareness program was organized by Association of Unani Physicians, Bihar in Planetarium Auditorium.
The Health Minister said that apart from Allopathic, Ayurvedic, Homeopathy, Yoga and Siddha, Unani system of medicine is also an ancient system. The central and state governments are working fast on Unani medicine and education system to take forward the Unani system. In 2014, with the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Unani system was added by forming the Ministry of AYUSH at the center, while in Bihar, an AYUSH mission was formed in 2018. Said that Rs 15 crore has been allocated for the building of Government Tibbi College established in Patna in 1926. The number of UG and PG seats has also been increased. In the session 20-21, the number of UG (undergraduate) seats was increased to 125, which is the highest in the country. Along with this, approval was given for nomination on 31 seats of PG (Post Graduate). The Health Department is also working continuously for the prevention and proper treatment of cancer.
