Live Updates in hindi: attendance of pu patna teachers will be made online
Latest Updated On 20/03/2024: On the lines of government schools in the state, online attendance of teachers and non-teaching staff will be made in Patna University (PU) and its affiliated colleges. At the same time, the attendance of students will be recorded inside the classroom through a tab-based biometric system.

Regarding this, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, Dr. S Siddharth has written a letter to the Vice Chancellor of Patna University on Wednesday. The attendance of teachers and staff will be mobile set based through biometric system. A mobile app will be developed for this.
After installing it, teachers and staff will be able to mark their attendance with live photographs within a radius of about 500 meters of the university campus from their mobile. Salary will be paid on making attendance through this system. Other biometric methods can also be used as per requirement.
