Latest Updated On 16/02/2025: The merit list of candidates for the recruitment of 1583 Gram Kachhari Secretaries in the state was released on Saturday. The merit list has been released on the official website of PRD (Panchayati Raj Department) ps.bihar.gov.in. The candidates who have applied can see the provisional merit list of their district panchayat wise on the notice board of the block office and the district headquarters.
The Panchayati Raj Department issued a press release saying that the candidates will also be given a chance to register any kind of complaint in the provisional list. For this, objections will be taken from the candidates through online medium soon. The objection will also be resolved through online medium. Time will be given by the department for this. After this, the finally selected candidates will be called for counseling.

According to the department, the reason for the names of the candidates not being in the provisional merit list of Gram Kachhari Secretary may also be not filling the application correctly. There may also be such cases where applications have been made from the Panchayat where there is no vacancy of Gram Kachhari Secretary. There may also be a case where the candidate has submitted the marks along with the application but has not uploaded the certificate.
Applicants in the reservation category who have not uploaded the reservation certificate will have their application rejected.
