Latest Updated 11/02/2025: The annual secondary (matriculation) and intermediate examinations will begin from 11 February to 3 March at 105 examination centres in the district. Necessary guidelines were given to all magistrates and police officers on Monday in the New Town Hall in the presence of the DC to conduct a peaceful and malpractice-free examination.
The centre superintendent was instructed to register an FIR against the candidate if caught malpracticing, to ensure water, electricity, adequate lighting, clean toilets, CCTV and other facilities at the examination centre, and to monitor through CCTV during the examination period. He also asked the static magistrate and police officer to coordinate with each other and thoroughly check the candidates, ensure their identity, and deliver the question paper to the centre on time. At the same time, SSP Hrideep P Janardhanan instructed the police officers to remain alert and discharge their duties, match the face of the candidate with the identity card containing his photo, not allow any kind of electronic equipment to be carried, reach the examination centre on time and not allow people to gather outside the examination centre. The intermediate examination will be held in the first shift from 9.45 am to 1.00 pm and in the second shift from 2.00 pm to 5.15 pm. Deputy Development Commissioner, Rural SP, ADM Law and Order, Sub-Divisional Officer, District Education Officer, DSP Law and Order, DSP, all BDOs, CO and others were present on the occasion.
Prohibitory orders in 100 meter radius of centers
Prohibitory orders have been issued in 100 meter radius of centers on the day of examination for Matriculation and Intermediate (Arts, Science and Commerce) examination. Prohibitory orders have been issued under Section 163 from 12 midnight till the end of examination on each date of examination. Unnecessary crowding in prohibited area, illegal loitering, use of loudspeakers, carrying unauthorized weapons and use of any kind of activity and object related to malpractice, distributing any paper or other material related to examination or trying to adversely affect its confidentiality, etc. have been prohibited.
Deputized teachers will be deployed in Matriculation examination
Teachers deputed from other schools in Plus Two schools will have to contribute to Matriculation-Intermediate examination centers in their original schools. They will work in their original schools till the end of examination. After the completion of examination, they will teach in those schools where they have been deputed as before. District Education Officer Nishu Kumari has issued the order.
