Latest Updated 17/07/2024: The education department has started the process of posting the teachers who have passed the competency test in new schools. In this sequence, the department has decided to start the verification of the certificates of these teachers from 1 August.
1.87 lakh teachers have passed the competency test, they are to be posted in the districts
The department has released the instructions in this regard on Tuesday. For the verification of certificates, the teachers have to appear in the DRCC center of the district allotted by the Bihar Board. Which teacher will appear on which day, it will be decided at the headquarters level, the information of which will be available on the departmental website. Along with this, the concerned teachers will also be informed. It is known that one lakh 87 thousand teachers have passed the competency test. Certificate verification will be done in five shifts every day. The first will run from 9 to 10.30 am, the second from 10.30 to 12 noon, the third from 12 to 1.30 pm, the fourth from 1.30 to 03 and the fifth from 03 to 4.30 pm.

Only one third of the teachers working from each school will come to the district for verification. The other teachers will come after three days. So that the teaching-learning of the schools is not disrupted. The teacher participating in the verification will be considered on office duty for a maximum of three days. The verification work will also be videographed.
Seniority has no relation with the date of verification The department has ordered not to rush and hurry for verification. The verification date has no relation with the seniority of the teachers. Their seniority will be determined on the basis of the date of joining the school. After joining the new school, they will be called special teachers. After this, they will be considered government teachers. If the certificate is found to be suspicious or fake, then the department will issue separate guidelines for action.
These documents will have to be brought: original caste certificate, original handicapped certificate, original Aadhar card, employment letter, matriculation certificate, intermediate certificate, graduation certificate, MA certificate, D.El.Ed.-B.Ed certificate, efficiency, B.T.E.T., C.T.E. and estate certificate. Along with this, all the teachers will have to bring their PAN card along with self-attested photocopies of the documents. Original admit card of competency test issued by Bihar School Examination Board, three passport size photographs, which have been given in the competency test. Photocopy of cancelled cheque-passbook along with bank account number. The department has instructed the districts to do biometric verification of teachers during verification. The time slot will be informed to the teacher through SMS and e-Shikshakosh mobile on the registered mobile of the teacher.
On this basis, teachers will be allowed entry inside the campus.
