Latest Updated 17/07/2024: Vacancies have been released by the Postal Department for 2558 posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks in Bihar Postal Circle. These vacancies have been released for three categories of GDS.

- OBC: 725
- SC: 371
- ST: 117
- EWS: 220
- PWD - A: 25
- PWD - B: 18
- PWD - C: 15

- Errors can be corrected from 6th to 8th August
- 10th pass can apply
These include the post of Branch Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster and Postal Servant. Tenth pass candidates can apply for this. The application process has started from 15 July. Applications will be accepted till 5 August. There will be a chance to correct the errors in the application from 6 to 8 August.
Eligible candidates can apply online for this by visiting the official website of the Postal Department indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
Candidates will have to register themselves before applying. Vacancies have been released in different categories. The minimum age of the applicant for application should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 32 years. Candidates coming in the reserved category will also be given relaxation in the maximum age limit. Applicants will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in class 10th. Merit list will be released on the basis of marks by the circle. Appointment will be done after verification of documents.
