time for transfer of lt-spokesperson of uttarakhand extended till 30th july latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 07/07/2024: Teachers of LT and spokesperson cadre of government schools will be transferred till July 30. The education department took this decision due to the implementation of election code of conduct in Haridwar and Chamoli due to by-elections on Badrinath and Mangalore assembly seats. DG Education Banshidhar Tiwari confirmed this on Saturday.
The DG said, spokesperson is state cadre and LT is divisional cadre. At this time, a large number of teachers are on duty in the by-elections. Due to this, all teachers will not get a chance to participate in counseling. Apart from Haridwar-Chamoli, transfers of basic teachers will be done in the rest of the districts within the stipulated period.

According to the Transfer Act of Uttarakhand, transfer orders are necessary till 10 June every year. This year, due to Lok Sabha elections, the departments did not get enough time to prepare for the transfer, so the date of transfer was extended to 10 July. But due to the by-election, a new problem arose before the education department.
