Latest Updated 26/07/2024: Teachers working on contract in Government Ayurvedic College Hospital, Patna will no longer be able to become guides of research students. Principal Dr. Sampurnanand Tiwari has banned this with immediate effect.
- Now students will do research under the department head
All the students who are currently doing research under the guidance of teachers working on contract, will now do research under the head of that department. In his order, the Principal said that the Ethics Committee of the college has taken this decision unanimously in the interest of the students. After this, teachers posted on contract will no longer be able to become guides for the students of session 2022-25 and session 2023-26. He told that the committee said that teachers working on contract leave the job midway and go to another place.

This decision has been taken after facts like mental exploitation and harassment, failing of many other students came to light. At the same time, there is no guideline by NCISM regarding making guides of contract teachers. The Principal has asked the students to revise the research proposal and submit it to the Principal's office within a week.
