Live Updates: rims student on remand, one arrested from hazaribagh in nta neet ug paper leak case 2024
Latest Updated 20/07/2024: In the NEET paper leak case, the CBI arrested suspect Surendra Sharma from Hazaribagh late Thursday night. On Friday afternoon, he was produced in the CBI special court in Patna and taken on 4-day remand.
- Surendra was Pankaj's accomplice in paper theft
It is said that he had helped Pankaj Kumar alias Aditya in stealing the question paper. On the other hand, RIMS student Surabhi, arrested from Ranchi in the same case, was also produced in the court of Special Judicial Magistrate Dhananjay Pandey, in-charge of Patna CBI, on Friday. On the request of the CBI, Surabhi was handed over on 10-day remand. Apart from the four arrested students of Patna AIIMS, ten accused including Sikandar were produced in the special court after interrogation. The court took all ten into judicial custody and sent them to Beur jail.
