Latest Updated 23/07/2024: The result of the recruitment of 63 sub-inspectors of the prohibition department and one sub-inspector in the surveillance department in Bihar was released on Monday.
- Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission completed the recruitment process in 9 months
Bihar Police Service Commission (BSSC) has created a record by completing the recruitment process in just 9 months.
The final result of both these examinations has been released on Monday from the BSSC level. The commission had issued an advertisement for both these posts on 1 November 2023. Its preliminary examination was conducted on 28 January 2024, in which more than 69 thousand candidates appeared. Its result came on 7 February.

The main examination for the successful candidates was conducted on 23 June 2024. Its result was released on 28 June. The physical examination was conducted on 16 July at Gardanibagh High School in Patna.
64 candidates found eligible were selected in this. Out of the 63 candidates who were successful for the post of sub-inspector of prohibition, 22 have been selected and one female candidate has been selected for one post of surveillance. Its complete result can be seen on the commission's website. It is worth noting that just a few days ago, the commission had finalized the selection process for 1275 sub-inspectors.
