Latest Updated 05/07/2024: The state government has opened the treasury for the employees of drivers, attendants and other posts working on contract. The honorarium and remuneration for drivers and attendants working on contract in various departments of the state government has been re-determined.
22 thousand per month will be given to the attendant
Now the driver will get 25 thousand rupees per month, matriculation attendant 22 thousand and non-matriculation attendant 20 thousand rupees. The General Administration Department has taken this decision after the recommendation made in the meeting held on June 25 under the chairmanship of the Development Commissioner. The General Administration Department has issued orders in this regard to the Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Director General of Police, Head of Department, Divisional Commissioner and District Magistrate of all departments on Thursday.
The process of employment on contract basis against the vacant post in various departments and offices is going to start. This announcement has been made to bring uniformity in the honorarium of office attendants and drivers employed on contract in each department. This honorarium will be effective from November 2023 only.
