338 new posts will be filled in the engineering colleges of bihar latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 13/07/2024: The state cabinet has approved 748 new posts in various departments. At the same time, approval has been given to create two posts of Additional Director Medical and Additional Surgical Cardiology in Indira Gandhi Heart Institute Patna. Now the process of appointment on these posts will start.
Approval has been given to hire vehicles for a total of 548 labor enforcement officers for all blocks, 11 Labor Commissioner offices and Dashrath Manjhi Labor Employment Study Institute Patna and to appoint one data entry operator in each block.
Other decisions of the cabinet
- The proposal to implement the Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan Yojana in Bihar has been approved. It is being implemented in place of RUSA.
- Rs 129.69 crore approved for the construction of Rajendra Bhawan, Governor's Secretariat and Guest House in Raj Bhavan
- One post of Protocol Officer created in Raj Bhavan, this will be a permanent post
- Bihar Police Driver Cadre (Amendment) Rules, 2024 was constituted
- Council of Science Museum Kolkata made the implementing agency for setting up Virtual Reality Theater in Planetarium
Approval has been given to create 338 academic posts (Professor-28, Associate Professor-71 and Assistant Professor-239) for Computer Science and Engineering course in 34 government engineering colleges run under the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education. 203 teaching posts (4 Heads of Department and 199 Lecturers) have been created for civil engineering course in 31 Government Polytechnic/ Government Women Polytechnic Institutes. Approval was given for establishment of new ITIs in the state and creation of 31 posts of Head Clerk and 31 posts of Lower Division Clerk, i.e. total 62 posts for women. At the same time, a proposal to create 137 posts of instructors in already started trades and 130 posts of Maths Instructors, Drawing Instructors and 7 posts of Group Instructors in Industrial Training Institutes was approved.
