Latest Updated 14/07/2024: As soon as Prof. RK Singh took over as the Vice Chancellor of BBMKU Dhanbad, the paperwork process has gained momentum. A round of discussions has started in the direction of resolving pending tasks. The appointment process will begin after the interview for need-based teacher appointment for Geography subject on 22 July. There is every possibility that after completing various processes, the selection list of candidates will be released by the last week of July or the first week of August.

More than 125 need-based teachers will be provided to various PG departments and colleges of the university. After getting need-based teachers, the shortage of teachers will be overcome to some extent. Let us tell you that after removing the then Vice Chancellor Prof. Shukdev Bhoi, the Raj Bhavan had appointed Vice Chancellor Prof. Pawan Kumar Poddar as the acting Vice Chancellor. Prof. Poddar was prohibited from taking policy decisions. Permission was also required to hold a meeting of the examination board. Now the restrictions have ended with the appointment of a permanent Vice Chancellor.
