Latest Updated 21/06/2024: Sports clubs will be formed in all the towns and village panchayats of the state. The state government will also provide financial assistance to these clubs every year. This decision has been taken to promote sports in the state and to provide resources to the youth for this. These clubs will be affiliated to the State Sports Authority. The clubs will work under the supervision of the authority.
It was approved in the state cabinet meeting held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Along with this, playgrounds will also be developed in all the towns and village panchayats. The government will acquire land in those panchayats where there is no land for playgrounds. It is known that the Chief Minister had announced to build playgrounds in every panchayat during the Samadhan Yatra. There will also be posts of president, secretary and member in every club.
148 crores to engineering-polytechnic colleges The cabinet has approved 80 crores for the construction of classrooms, workshops, laboratories and purchase of equipment-computers in 46 polytechnic colleges of the state. At the same time, Rs 68 crore 54 lakh has been approved for the above facilities in 38 engineering colleges of the state.

The cabinet has approved the creation of 240 posts including 98 in the Sports Department. Soon the process of appointment on these posts will be started by the concerned departments. 98 posts were created in the Sports Department. These include 63 secretariat and 35 directorate posts. With the creation of these posts, talented players can also be selected for this. In the same sequence, 140 posts of Bihar Higher Judicial Service have been created. 20 Registrar posts were created on contract under the Consumer Protection Department. The Cabinet approved the appointment of one Chief Aviation Instructor on a remuneration of 5.50 lakhs and two Deputy Chief Aviation Instructors on a remuneration of four lakhs each in the Secretariat Department. 285 posts under the Labor Resources Department were identified under the Labor Clerical Cadre Rules 2014, including 171 posts of lower class clerks and 114 posts of upper class clerks, food office-wise.
