Patliputra University: Students caught were asked to submit original documents
Latest Updated 20/06/2024: Admissions are being done on the basis of fake marks certificates in the colleges of Patliputra University. This was revealed on Wednesday when six fake candidates were caught. More than six students had enrolled in BD College by submitting fake marks sheets.

Sushant Kumar has 333 marks in Intermediate but he got admission by submitting 393 marks in the application. When the matter was investigated, it came to the light. Similarly, a girl student got admission in Zoology by wrong means. She applied by submitting wrong marks. On the basis of marks, her name came in the merit list. When the matter was investigated, it came to the light. At the same time, the student leaders of the college allege that irregularities are being done at the university & college level. In this case, the Principal of BD College, Vivekanand Singh said that six fake students have been caught. Action will be taken against the all of them.

Original documents have been demanded from all the enrolled students. They have been asked to get all the certificates verified. The admission of students who do not do so will be cancelled. A notice has been issued in this regard. In this case, the Dean of Patliputra University, Prof. AK Nag said that if any college has enrolled students on the basis of a wrong certificate, the college should take action against such students at its own level. An FIR should be lodged. Before enrolling, the original certificates and college leaving certificates of the students must be checked.
