Second mock seat allotment released for the admission in iit nit by JoSAA latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 18/06/2024: The counselling process for admission in IIT-NIT and other top engineering colleges has started by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Action is being taken for 59 thousand 917 seats of 121 colleges. The last date for choice filling for this counselling is 18 June till 5 pm. Students can fill the choices of 865 branches of 121 colleges.

First round seat allocation will be held on 20 June
If students are unable to lock their filled college choices within the given time, it will automatically get auto-locked. The second mock seat allocation of joint seat counselling has been released. In the mock seat allocation released, 2 crore 20 lakh 44 thousand 300 choices of a total of 1 lakh 81 thousand 370 students have been allotted. After the second mock seat allocation, students must check their filled college choices for the last time. Because once locked, no change is possible in the filled branch. JoSAA counseling will be conducted in six rounds. This year also, the first round of seat allocation for admission in IIT-NIT will be announced on 20 June at 10 am. After the first round of seat allocation, students will have to report online between 20 and 24 June.
