Hazaribagh school under the scanner for paper leak is being searched
Latest Updated 27/06/2024: The CBI team, which reached Hazaribagh to investigate the NEET paper leak case, on Wednesday detained ten people including Oasis School Principal Ehsanul Haq. The team is interrogating everyone at Charhi Guest House.
- CBI is also questioning 5 inspectors, 2 supervisors and a centre superintendent
The other people who have been detained, including the principal, include five invigilators, two observers, a center superintendent and a Toto driver. The interrogation was going on till the time of writing the news.
According to sources, earlier the team has seized some documents related to NEET, which were brought to the guest house by car where everyone is being questioned. There is also talk of the team getting some big input. However, the CBI has not issued any official statement at the moment. Let us tell you that the Bihar EOU, which is investigating the case, recovered a half-burnt question paper in Patna on 4 May. Its serial numbers were of Oasis School examination center.

Chintu, a resident of Nalanda, was the first to receive the NEET question paper in PDF format, which was distributed among 35 candidates in Patna.

The investigating agency will take two accused lodged in Beur jail on remand today
CBI will question Baldev Kumar alias Chintu and Mukesh lodged in Beur jail in the NEET-UG paper leak case. On Wednesday, the special CBI court of Patna, on the application of the investigating agency, ordered to hand over both of them on remand for seven days from June 27. The CBI team will take both the accused on remand from Beur jail on Thursday. The CBI team along with its lawyer Amit Kumar reached the court of CBI Special Judicial Magistrate Harshvardhan Singh at Patna Civil Court on Wednesday. The CBI filed an application and sought the remand of Mukesh and Chintu. The court allowed it.
