Latest Updated 25/06/2024: Registration of pharmacists will start within a week. This will benefit about 12 thousand B. Pharma, D. Pharma and M. Pharma passed students of the state. After the election of the President and Vice President of the Pharmacy Council recently, the Pharmacy Council was formed on Monday.

In a meeting chaired by the President of the Pharmacy Council, Dr. Prakash Sinha, Ranjit Ranjan was made the Registrar of the State Pharmacy Council under the executive arrangement. Prakash Kumar Jha has also been made the treasurer. Arjesh Raj, Ajay Kumar and Dr. Sudhir Kumar were elected in the executive of the Pharmacy Council. With registration, students passing out from various pharmacy institutes will get a chance to appear in the competitive examination related to it. Pharmacists will also be able to open private medicine shops on the basis of registration. Registration was affected due to the Pharmacy Council being dissolved for two years.
On the basis of registration, those who get a pharma degree will be able to appear in the related examination of the state and central government.
Vice President Satish Shankar Pathak, elected members Arjesh Raj, Prakash Kumar Jha, Manish Kumar, Vikas Kumar Singh, Abhitosh Rana, nominated members Ajay Kumar, Dr. Sudhir Kumar, Ranjit Ranjan, Dr. Kiran Kumari and Sanjay Kumar, ex-officio member, State Drugs Controller, attended the special meeting.
