Category wise top 20 percentile released for 12th board exams by JoSAA latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 13/06/2024: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the category wise top 20 percentile cutoff marks for the board exams of the year 2023 and 2024. This time the cutoff has come down as compared to the year 2023. This time there is a decrease in the top 20 percentile cutoff of CBSE along with Bihar Board.

How many marks in which category
In Bihar Board 2023, the general category students who passed 12th had 351 marks in 20 percentile, while in 2024 the 20 percentile of general was 347 marks. It is being told that this time due to being out of the top 20 percentile candidates and not getting 75 percent marks in the 12th board exam, the dream of many students to study in IIT and NIT has been shattered.
For admission in IIT and NIT, one must have at least 75 marks in the 12th board exam.
