Latest Updated 10/06/2024: The results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Advanced were declared on Sunday morning. In this, Ved Lahoti of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi Zone has secured the top position by securing 355 marks out of 360. According to the IIT Madras, which conducted the exam this time, Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel of IIT Bombay Zone got 322 marks out of 360 & topped among girl students. At the same time, she stood seventh in the country.


Aniket Kumar of Patna has become the Bihar topper by securing 96th rank in the country. However, in the Guwahati zone in which Bihar falls, Aniket is ranked second. At the same time, Pratham Kumar of Muzaffarpur (rank 343 in the country) has secured the fifth position in the zone. Avik Das has become the topper of Guwahati zone by securing 69th rank in the country. Pratham's rank in Bihar is second.

Out of the candidates securing the top 10 positions, four are from IIT Madras. Aditya (Delhi Zone) stood second in the exam and Bhogalpalli Sandesh (Madras Zone) stood third. Rhythm Kedia (IIT Roorkee Zone), Putti Kushal Kumar (IIT Madras), Rajdeep Mishra (IIT Bombay Zone), Koduri Tejeshwar (IIT Madras Zone), Dhruvi Hemant Doshi (IIT Bombay Zone) and Alladabona SSDB Sidhwik Suhas (IIT Madras Zone) have secured the next ranks in the same order. Joint Seat Allocation (JOSAA) counseling will begin on Monday. A total of 1,80,200 candidates appeared in both the exams in Advanced. Out of these, 48,248 passed. Of the total passed applicants, 7,964 are female applicants.
