Latest Updated 20/05/2024: The salary of nursing officers working in Doon Medical College Hospital with a salary of Rs 13 thousand may increase soon. The college management is preparing to send the proposal for salary increase to the directorate and the government.
More than a hundred nursing officers working in the college had warned of agitation from 21 May due to low salaries and excessive work. On which a meeting was held between MS Dr. Anurag Aggarwal, DMS Dr. Dhananjay Doval, ANS Deepshikha and agency representatives. In which nursing officials said that one nursing staff has to see 45-45 patients.
According to Dr. Anurag Aggarwal, on the instructions of the Principal, a proposal for salary increase is being sent to the government. On the other hand, after the assurance of the management, the work boycott from May 21 has been withdrawn by the employees.
