Latest Updated 30/05/2024: Candidates can apply for government and private B.Ed colleges of the state with late fee till 4 June. Late fee of Rs 500 will have to be paid extra. This time so far one lakh 98 thousand 101 candidates have applied online for CET-B.Ed-2024. This is the highest compared to the last four years. This time a large number of applicants have also applied online through mobile.

In this regard, the Vice Chancellor said that the number of applications can also cross two lakhs. State Nodal Officer Prof. Ashok Kumar Mehta said that the application for the joint entrance examination for two-year B.Ed and Shiksha Shastra 2024 ended on 28 May within the stipulated time without late fee.

99433 female and 98665 male applicants are included. At the same time, 346 candidates from across the state have applied online for Shiksha Shastra within the stipulated time without late fee, out of which 115 are female and 231 are male. Examination centers will be set up in 11 cities of the state.
Among the applications received so far, Patna city has the highest number of 58771 candidates who have chosen the exam centers. Whereas 26404 candidates have applied for the exam centers of Gaya, 24531 for the exam centers of Muzaffarpur, 22363 for the exam centers of Darbhanga, 12763 for the exam centers of Bhagalpur, 12135 for the exam centers of Ara, 9923 for the exam centers of Madhepura, 9359 for the exam centers of Purnia, 7943 for the exam centers of Hajipur, 7086 for the exam centers of Chhapra and 6823 candidates have applied for the exam centers of Munger.
Correction of errors in the application will be done from June 1 to June 6. As per the pre-determined date, candidates will be able to download the admit card from June 17 and the entrance exam will be held on June 25 (Tuesday).
