Live Updates: bihar government will go to supreme court on btsc anm recruitment for 10709 posts
Latest Updated 05/05/2024: The state government will go to the Supreme Court against the decision of the High Court on the reinstatement of 10 thousand 709 ANMs in the state. The Health Department has taken opinion from the Law Department and the Advocate General on this matter. Soon an SLP will be filed in the Supreme Court on this matter.

The double bench had also upheld the decision of the single bench of the High Court to reinstate ANM on the basis of academic course marks. The court had said that the reinstatement of ANM will be under Rule 7 of Bihar Women and Health Workers (ANM) Cadre Rules 2018.
The recruitment process of 10709 ANMs started in 2022. The selection process was decided on the basis of ANM Rules 2018.
