Jharkhand Joint Entrance Competition Examination Board released order
Latest Updated 10/05/2024: The process of online application for admission in all government and private engineering institutes of the state including BIT Sindri is starting from Friday.
- Admission will be done in government and private colleges including BIT Sindri.
- Last date of online application 24th June, Meritlist 2nd July
The last date for the online application is 24 June. Students will apply on the basis of JEE Main 2024 exam score. State merit list will be prepared by scrutinizing the applications made on the basis of JEE Main scores. Seats will be allotted for enrollment only according to the state merit list. Jharkhand Joint Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released instructions related to this. State merit list will be released on July 2. Let us tell you that in all the government and private engineering colleges running in Jharkhand, JEE is conducted on the basis of Main score.

There is no separate engineering entrance competitive examination conducted in the state. There are 16 engineering colleges in Jharkhand. Students up to 11,10,304 ranks got places in the state merit list released in the year 2023. Among these, the seat was allotted to the student who got 8,75,419 rank in JEE Main at BIT Sindri in JCECEB JEE Main counselling. Talking about other engineering colleges of the state, students up to rank 10,71,171 had got seats.
