Latest Updated 18/05/2024: This year, admission in 11th class in Kendriya Vidyalaya will be done on the basis of combined merit list. For this, first applications (option forms) will be taken from the students.
After receiving the applications, merit list will be released on the basis of marks obtained by the students in the board. Students will get admission on the basis of this merit list. This will benefit those students who have got better marks in the board exams.

Let us tell you that till now there was direct enrollment in 11th class in Kendriya Vidyalaya. That is, the students were admitted to the same school from which they had passed 10th. This time the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has made changes. Now applications will be taken simultaneously for all KVs across the state. On the basis of this application, school wise combined merit list will be released. A total of 52 KVs will be included in the merit list.
Applications from 18th to 25th, merit list will be released on 27th.
According to KVS administration, online applications for admission in class 11th will be taken from 18th to 25th May. Apart from single girl child, applications will also be taken for other quotas. Only students studying in KVs across the state will be able to apply. Students of private schools will get the opportunity only when seats remain vacant in any Kendriya Vidyalaya. The combined merit list will be released on May 27. After receiving the applications, merit list will be released on the basis of marks.
This time only KV students will be able to apply for admission in class 11th. Applications will be taken from 18th to 25th May. After this, combined merit list will be released on the basis of marks.
