Latest Updated 03/05/2024: Admission for the new session BA, BAAC and B.Com courses in Patliputra University started from Thursday. Two thousand students applied on the very first day.
The last date of application is 25 May. Enrollment will take place in the session 2024-2028 under the four-year choice based credit system. Through this, admission will be done in affiliated and affiliated degree colleges of Patna and Nalanda districts.

Vice Chancellor Prof. RK Singh said that the session of Patliputra University is completely regular. It is ahead of all the universities of entire Bihar. Examinations are also going on here. According to the ongoing academic calendar, the first merit list will be released on 27 May 27, through which nominations will be taken till June 5. Classes will start in colleges from 4 July. About one lakh 20 thousand seats have been earmarked by the university in these colleges. Dean of Student Welfare Prof. AK Nag said that after the completion of the nomination process in three rounds, the spot round will be organized.
