Latest Updated 10/04/2024: Special classes will now run from 8 to 10 in the morning in schools for students who have failed or did not appear in the annual examinations of classes 9 and 11.
These classes are to be held during summer vacation from 15th April to 15th May. Earlier the timing of these special classes was fixed from 10 to 12 noon, which has now been changed. Regarding this, the Department's Secondary Education Director Kanhaiya Prasad Srivastava has written a letter to all the district education officers on Tuesday. The department has said that all the teachers posted in the school will come before 8 am and will leave the school after conducting special classes. If the students who have passed classes 9 and 11 in the annual examination also fall in the special class, then they will also be included in it. The headmaster of the school will take action for enrollment of new children after conducting special classes.

The details of enrolled children will be uploaded on the e-Shiksha Kosh portal. Aadhar card is necessary for the admission. Arrangements for making Aadhaar card free of cost have been made at the secondary school level. The department has also said that the cleaning of schools will continue regularly from April 15 to May 15. ICT classes will also run from eight to ten o'clock. The security of the ICT lab will be ensured. It has been the experience that computers have been stolen at many places during summer vacations. The work of providing other basic facilities to the school like infrastructure, drinking water etc. will also continue during the summer vacation period.
