Latest Updated 10/04/2024: The ongoing residential training of teachers in the state will be postponed on the day of Eid and Ram Navami. Regarding this, the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has sent a letter to the principals of all teacher training institutes on Tuesday.

- There will be holiday on 11th April on Eid and 17th April on Ram Navami
It has been said in the letter that 11th April has been declared a gazetted holiday on the occasion of Eid (on sighting of the moon) and 17th April on the day of Ram Navami. Therefore, training will be postponed on these declared holidays. The training of 11th April will now be held on 14th and 17th April on 21st April.

Presently six-day training is being conducted in various institutes. Training will be conducted as per the schedule on the next day of the declared holiday. Appropriate action will be taken against those concerned if they do not attend the training.
With the said letter from SCERT, the confusion that existed regarding suspension of training on the day of Eid and Ram Navami has been resolved. Earlier, the Education Department had termed the letter issued on Monday regarding the said holiday as fake. After this, the confusion regarding this has been resolved.
