Latest Updated 13/03/2024: With the start of the process of direct recruitment on the vacant posts of Principal, the Government Teachers Association opened its front. On Tuesday, Sangh President Ram Singh Chauhan and General Secretary Ramesh Painuli demanded the government to immediately cancel this recruitment. A memorandum in this regard has also been sent to Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat.

Chauhan said that the Public Service Commission has released a notification for recruitment to 692 posts of Principal. This is injustice to the recruited teachers. The posts of Principal should also be filled through 100% promotion from the Principals of High Schools. Also, 55 percent LT and 45 percent lecturer cadre should be promoted on the vacant posts of high school principals. Panuli has demanded the Education Minister to immediately take cognizance of this matter and cancel the recruitment process. If the government makes direct recruitment on these posts, the union will be forced to take to the streets and protest against it.
