Live News Update: Bihar CHO Vacancy 2024 for 4500 posts canceled
Latest Updated 13/03/2024: The vacancy released for 4500 Community Health Officers in Health Sub Center and Health Wellness Center has been cancelled. The State Health Committee released information in this regard on Tuesday.

In the released information, the reason for cancellation of vacancy related advertisement has been stated as unavoidable. Earlier, the committee had released vacancies on 9 March. Applications were invited from B.Sc Nursing pass candidates from 1 April to 30 April . Appointment was to be made on contract.

Out of the vacancy of 4500, there was not a single vacancy in the unreserved category. This matter had gained momentum. There was criticism from all sides. It is believed that the vacancy might have been canceled for this reason only.
Not a single post was given for male and female candidates in unreserved category. 145 posts were shown for economically weaker section and 78 posts were shown for women belonging to economically weaker section. Maximum 1345 posts were for Extremely Backward Class, while there were 331 posts for women of this category. There were also 1279 posts for Scheduled Castes, while there were 230 posts for women of the same category.
