Live News Update: Admission in 22 nursing institutes (ANM, GNM and BSc Nursing) of Bihar from this session by Health Department
Latest Updated 13/03/2024: From this session, the Health Department will enroll students in 22 new government ANM, GNM and BSC nursing institutes of the state. The buildings of all these new nursing institutions have been ready.
Nomination will be done on 1320 new seats
There will be enrollment for 60-60 seats in these schools. That means nomination can be made on a total no. of 1320 new seats. For this, principals have been posted in 22 nursing institutes of Bihar.

13 out of 35 candidates were selected using wrong methods, hence only 22 were posted
The Health Department released a notification in this regard on Tuesday. Bihar Technical Service Commission had provide the list of 35 applicants selected for the post of Principal in Nursing Colleges & Institutes. But there is a case against 11 applicants who were selected by taking the benefit of reservation despite being natives from outside the state. There is an allegation against 2 applicants of obtaining the degree of MSc (Nursing) at the same time while working on the post of GNM. Therefore all these 13 applicants are not being posted. Further action will be taken in their case only after the investigation.
