NOU Bihar not admitted on NAAC recognition latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 25/03/2024: It has been more than a month since Nalanda Open University got recognition from NAAC, but permission for enrollment has not been received yet. The university will have to apply again for registration with UGC (DEC).
The university has already applied for registration by paying Rs 9 lakh. After this, permission has not been given till now. Many letters have been sent by the university to the UGC. But even after this the problem could not be solved. In such a situation, because of UGC, thousands of students of Bihar want to enroll in Nalanda Open University. They may have problems. Once again there may be a delay in enrollment. Here, enrollment could not be done in the university even last year. The last session had become zero session. At the same time, the only Nalanda Open University in the state has not yet received approval for enrollment in the new session. Due to this, the process of application for nomination could not be started.
Increase in admission in IGNOU
IGNOU has benefited the most from the closure of distance education in the universities of Bihar. Enrollment in IGNOU has increased significantly in recent years. IGNOU Director Abhilash Nayak said that enrollment takes place in January and July sessions. More than 87000 nominations have been received in both the sessions combined.

Constant correspondence is being done to start the nomination process. But till now UGC has not clarified the situation.
