Latest Updated 09/03/2024:  In the constable paper leak case, during the EOU raid, important documents have been found from both the offices of the Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment). Initial investigation of the recovered documents revealed that the terms of the agreements made with the agency were not properly followed. One of the main reasons for the question paper leak is not following the terms and conditions of the agreement properly.


The EOU (Economic Offenses Unit) had raided both the offices of the Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) till midnight on 7 March. Many sensitive documents were found in the raid that lasted for more than six hours.

The raid started at around 5 pm in the Councilor's offices at building number 5 on Harding Road and Back Harding Road in Patna and continued till around 11:30 pm. EOU issued a release saying that apart from various computers, laptops, mobiles and other equipment of the office, a large number of documents were searched. A thorough search has been conducted at the room of the then Chairman of the Selection Board, confidential branch, special duty officer room, accounts branch and other important places.


It should be noted that the question paper of the examination conducted on 1 October 2023 for reinstatement on more than 21 thousand posts of constables had gone viral before the commencement of the examination.

Irregularities have also come to light in the advertisement issued for this recruitment examination. After this was revealed, now the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed under the leadership of EOU DIG Manavjit Singh Dhillon, formed to investigate this matter, has started investigating at what level or on whose instructions this negligence was done. This kind of carelessness has been taken in such a sensitive matter intentionally or as part of some conspiracy.
