Live News Update: VPDO will be recruited within a week by PRD Uttarakhand
Latest Updated 28/02/2024: Recruitment will be made to the vacant posts of Gram Panchayat Development Officers under the Panchayati Raj Department in a week. Panchayati Raj Minister Satpal Maharaj gave this information in the House on Tuesday. BJP MLA Mahesh Jeena, during the Question Hour, raised the issue of problems faced by the people due to vacancy in the posts of Gram Panchayat Development Officers in the state.

BJP MLA Ram Singh Kaida also requested to increase the posts of Gram Panchayat officers in the state. In response to this, Minister Maharaj said that 342 candidates will be appointed in a week.
