There will be 15% increase in the salary of NHM employees of Jharkhand latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 25/02/2024: The delegation of Jharkhand State NHM Contractual Employees Union met Chief Minister Champai Soren in Ranchi on Saturday. During this meeting, the employees demanded from the Chief Minister to reinstate the 15 percent increase in their salary.
According to the employees, the Chief Minister has assured to take positive action on this within one to two weeks. Let us tell you that against the seventh pay scale, instructions were given from the department level to give 15 percent salary increase to NHM employees. The order was also issued by the department in March 2023. It was banned as it was against the rules.

Civil surgeons were also instructed to deduct the amount in the districts where this additional payment was made. Under the leadership of the union's state convenor Anoop Kumar, NHM contract workers met the Chief Minister and handed over the demand letter to him.
According to Anoop Kumar, the Chief Minister has assured immediate action in this matter.
